Austin Craig Interview - Provo Bigfoot Sighting Jan. 2, 2019

Austin Craig was responsible for the online presence of the rather well known footage of a sasquatch captured up in the mountains at the edge of Provo, Utah in early January of 2019. Austin makes it clear in the interview that he did not film the video but his friend let him upload the file to the Internet due to his interest in the subject and the video owner’s desire to have nothing to do with the footage. During the course of the interview Austin discusses his interest in bigfoot and how the Provo footage went viral, being featured on local and national news outlets.

Side note, the file Austin procured was put on a google drive by his friend. The resultant video was down sampled and that is the version available online. At the conclusion of this interview, I am sharing a cropped, enhanced, slowed down and stabilized version of the original resolution file which was procured by a friend who knocked on the door of the person who took the original video. Interview took place on Dec. 20th, 2021.
